In this full-time role reporting to the Farms General Manager, you will work with a team of mechanics and will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of vehicles, trucks, machinery, pumps and engines.
Qualifications and Experience
- Formal qualifications in Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Mechanics or a related field
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, including experience with agricultural or heavy machinery

In this full-time role reporting to the Farms General Manager, you will work with a multidisciplinary team of staff and contractors, and will be responsible for installation, maintenance and repair of:
- plumbing systems - irrigation, stock water, pumps and domestic plumbing
- farm buildings and general infrastructure.

Welder - We are seeking an experienced and reliable Welder based in the Moree or Walgett districts. In this full-time role reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will work with a team of mechanics and will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal components across a variety of equipment and machinery. This includes, for example; irrigation systems, cotton gin equipment, stockyards, commodity storage, light and heavy machinery, tools and equipment and general farm infrastructure.

Livestock Officer Role
This role will assist the Livestock Administration Manager with all livestock inventories and audits for the Hemingford Feedlot and will assist with outdoor livestock operations as requested by the Feedlot Manager.
Experience in the below areas is ideal, but not essential. Mentoring and training will be provided on the job.
Hemiford Feedlot is approx 100kms West of Moree.
Job description:
- Assist with maintaining software for livestock programs, i.e. StockaID, Performance Beef.
- Collaborate with the Livestock Administration Manager to accurately track and record all livestock movements in Hemingford Feedlot, including induction and exit reports.
- Provide support to ensure compliance with National Livestock and Identification Scheme (NLIS) and Property Identification Codes (PIC).
- Aid with reports on feeding, commodity and drug records, including undertaking stocktakes. Maintain and report on animal health.
- Support with audits for National Feedlot Accreditation Standards (NFAS), LPA (Livestock Production Assurance) and Environment Protection Licence, ensuring 100% compliance at all times.
- Assist with compiling and gathering information for internal audits, weekly reports for management, and assist updating buyers grid model weekly with cattle prices.
- Assist with purchasing and arranging animal health products and other livestock products as required.
- Undertake outdoor cattle work, machinery operation and maintenance activities as requested by Feedlot Manager.
- Support and assist with following and contributing to all company Health, Safety and Environment policies, meetings and procedures.
- Assist with maintaining a safety-first culture including planning work safely, providing appropriate resources and processes, eliminate or minimise hazards.
- Adhere to and learn all company incidents, hazards and losses are reported on the company platform, with corrective actions identified and corrected within a suitable time frame.
